Using digital (or electronic) signature to authorize payments has long become accepted procedure for corporate business. The internet-based communication standard EBICS requires not just the usual signature, set-up and approved by the bank, but also an authentication signature and an additional encrpytion of the transmitted data using user-related keys. These new requirements increase the necessity for ensuring that all keys are kept and maintained in a secure environment.

In close collaboration with Raiffeisen Bank Albania, Omikron has developed a new module for MultiCash to support Albanian domestic payments.
While the Albanian payments system is quite straightforward, there are special requirements for corporates in the case of payments to State Budget, which must be differentiated according to the type of payment (tax office, customs office, mobile companies, budgetary institutions). In addition, there are further controls on the details (invoice no., contract no. etc.), depending on the type of payment.

Société Générale Expressbank, one of the leading Bulgarian banks, has launched a new corporate internet banking service – SoGeCash Net. Following a successful pilot with large corporate clients, a roll-out to other users is in progress. The bank, a Bulgarian subsidiary of the Financial Group – Société Générale, decided on Omikron’s MultiCash@SmartOffice in a version specially prepared for Bulgaria, supporting all necessary domestic and foreign payment order types, in Bulgarian and English languages. Acceptance and implementation was supported closely by Omikron’s Bulgarian partner company, Global Consulting.
MultiCash@SmartOffice is a pure online banking solution, supporting cash management, payments and other bank services. The customized version for Bulgaria incorporates modules for domestic payments including multiple order types, as well as international payments. In response to demand from its member community (German private banks), and as an extension of its offering for outsourced services, BV Zahlungssysteme decided to introduce an “International Corporate Portal”. The objective is to allow banks to offer a range of online services under their own brand, but operated in outsourcing within the secure, highly-available and fully certified infrastructure of the IT Centre at BV Zahlungssysteme. In addition, each bank’s corporate clients should be provided with a multibank capability similar to that familiar from MultiCash.
