On the 14th of December 2010 Global Consulting hosted a workshop with representatives of the Ministry of Defense. The theme was to present solutions for cyber security and cyber defense. The workshop was held by lecturer Plamen Kamenov. Also presented were products by NETASQ network security, by speaker Ekaterina Hristeva – ESCOM Bulgaria Ltd.
Global Consulting experience in the field is based on the agreement between Global Consulting and NATO C3 Agency for Cooperation and services in the field of software and systems engineering and information security. Global Consulting is a member of the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG) in the development of “cloud computing” for NATOs operational structures. At the meeting were presented also the capabilities of the platform RSA enVision, which collects, analyzes, and performs correlation and signal-based data logs from all sources of events in the network and IT infrastructure.
In the field of network security Ms. Hristeva presented NETASQ products. NETASQs firewalls ensure pro-active “all-in-one” protection solution that gives you full control over threats to your network, including open “back-doors”, viruses, spam and looking at inappropriate Internet pages.
