Among the popular features of MultiCash is the import function, allowing users to import, authorize and send files generated in other applications. A regular problem with the import is that imported files do not match exactly the specifications of the banks. To make it easier to analyse such problems, Omikron has developed a special SEPA check routine (similar to the check routines familiar to German users for the DTAUS and DTAZV formats). Using this additional module, SEPA payment files can be checked manually on screen for the correct syntax (file structure, sequence of elements, mandatory fields etc.).

DKV Euro Service has received the prestigious “Adam Smith Award for Best Practice and Innovation 2010“ in the category “Best SEPA Solution“.
The decisive factor for DKV Euro Service’s first place award in the “Finance” sector was the outstanding achievement of implementing SEPA orders at the earliest possible time. Second and third places in the same category went to Google and Würth Finance respectively. In all, awards were made in 13 categories. The Adam Smith Award is made by the Treasury Today Magazine in recognition of companies which use or are in the process of introducing innovative solutions for corporate treasury.

Using digital (or electronic) signature to authorize payments has long become accepted procedure for corporate business. The internet-based communication standard EBICS requires not just the usual signature, set-up and approved by the bank, but also an authentication signature and an additional encrpytion of the transmitted data using user-related keys. These new requirements increase the necessity for ensuring that all keys are kept and maintained in a secure environment.

In close collaboration with Raiffeisen Bank Albania, Omikron has developed a new module for MultiCash to support Albanian domestic payments.
While the Albanian payments system is quite straightforward, there are special requirements for corporates in the case of payments to State Budget, which must be differentiated according to the type of payment (tax office, customs office, mobile companies, budgetary institutions). In addition, there are further controls on the details (invoice no., contract no. etc.), depending on the type of payment.
